  • I noticed when I do the same I have dreams of people looking in or someone watching me. Maybe I think of it as I am vulnerable and I always end up having nightmares b/c of it. I also have problems when any door is open too.
Put your bed as far away from the windows as possible and get some curtains and shut them before you go to bed. I eventually found out sleeping close to the wall helped me.

  • hi,
    This happend to me too!
It could be NEGATIVE energy It happens alot Facing to a bathroom doors and windows! if u have to sleep facing the window eat light meals in the night and dont watch TV or be on the computer before bed and also before u fall asleep clear ur mind and sleep Peacefully!

  • Hi there,

This happened to me before I was having the same nightmare each night when I faced the window. I realised it was down to stress because I didn’t have a job at the time so I was stressing over that.

I’ve recently moved to a new house, the other night I said I’d try sleeping facing the window as it hadn’t been successful since moving. Unfortunately I had a nightmare and woke up crying, I’m not really sure what this means now though because I have my job and I’m relatively happy.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what it can be this time?

  • I guess it really is an individuals sub conscious preference to sleep in certain manner. As one of the earlier post mentioned, some people will feel this fear of privacy being compromised when facing am open window. Hence lack of sense of security n therefore bad sleep. This is made worse for people who believe in the feng shui mumbo jumbo. Psychologically they would already be feeling uneasy about facing the window. For me I enjoy sleeping facing the window cos I enjoy looking at the night sky before I sleep. You may wanna close your curtain when you sleep at night. It should help you.
