In my dream I gave birth to a dead baby. I could actually feel the child coming out of me. It was so real.

When the child came out it was dead and only had half a body…the top half like from its head to its waist and then I delivered the second half of the baby a little while later.
Weird, very weird.
Any ideas of what on earth this means? I know it means SOMETHING …. just don’t know what.

wow that’s pretty weird!! it probably means that you have a really tough decision to make and that no matter what choice you make you will hurt someone. it may also symbolize a situation where you are caught between two people or two ideas. i’m no specialist but i know there are books you can buy to diagnose what it means. i suggest making very educated decisions!

Babies often symbolize new projects or ideas in dreams. Here, you give birth to a half baby or a project that is only partially viable. You need to add more things to your idea or project in order for it to grow.
I had a dream very, very similar to this when I was 19/20 years old (im now 34).
At the time I had the dream the bond between my mother and I had been very strained if not destroyed at that time but I still loved her dearly – it was circumstances that was making it hard to respect that bond.
I felt at the time a sense of utter loss and disgust as I saw what I had given birth to in the dream.
I really do believe this is to do with maternal relationships and bonding. I’m not sure what your circumstances are but I suggest you may be feeling vulnerable and have some kind of strained relationship with family or some loved one – it may be you feel protective and maternal towards a person but this person is damaged?
Were you well in the dream? or were you sickly? ..as if you were not well and this can be shown in how you looked as well as not being able to birth a healthy child – it may be an early warning of health probs in ovaries / tummy such as endimetriosis, clotting, inability to make eggs or a simple yeast infection or STD – sorry to alarm you – I certainly don’t mean to but i recommend you get a health check at you docs for things like womb, fertility, hormones and STD’s.

You did not mention what sex the baby was. This is most telling. What I can tell you from the details you’ve provided is that after much effort and toil, the result will not be as expected, complete or to the full extent you thought it would be. The reward of your efforts will come in two parts.Now if the baby was a boy, expect twice the trouble turmoil and woe you had in striving for this result but if a girl then know that success and joy will come your way in two parts somehow, not all at once. That’s your meaning.
