WHAAAT??? my school starts at 7 am. and if you are not in the classroom at 7 you can’t take the class
i go to bed at the right time so that im in bed for eight hours but i only get about 3 hours of sleep as i suffere from a condition called restless leg syndrome which makes my arms and legs feel uncontrolably tense and i have to move them otherwise i can’t sleep.
Wow. Didn’t know things were that bad in America.
I’m pretty glad that my school starts at 8:30.
Tell that to all the AP classes we’re forced to take now if we wanna get into a good school -.-
I go to sleep at 8 PM and wake up at 2-3 AM, man, it’s really great, I get to be “up late god damnit!” and feel spectacular by the time “school starts” too bad I’m not in high school.
I started to drink coffee when I was 16 cause I was tired. Now I drink it almost every day and sometimes a few times a day or an energy drink if I´m tired.
@SilentReaper44 That would be awesome. A friend in Japan said that they have school in the evening. I want that cause I´m not good at going to sleep early.

After 11? That’d be a dream to go to bed that early. I go to bed a no earlier than 2 a.m and have to get up at 6:30 a.m. I’m trying to get into MIT, so I’m busting my ass.
I got a 4.178 GPA last quarter so its paying off. But it still sucks ass. Feel like shit during the day. All stiff and achy from no sleep it just sucks. Guess I just gotta focus on the reward til i suffer my first heart attack at 30. Ha

try being in the british army & getting up at 5:30 every morning & smashing your body all day everyday.8/10 people its diet & mental stimulation needed to overcome tierdness. 9 hours sleep a night & no excise during the day is a bad civilian habit lol
I DO agree that sleep deprivation is a very dangerous thing. ‘Not only does it produce symptoms of ADD, making it more likely that teenagers have accidents while driving cars, but, PROLONGED SLEEP DEPRIVATION CAN BRING ON ALL OF THE SIGNS OF PSYCHOSIS. I believe the public needs to be aware of this. It happened to me 3 times and I was diagnosed with chronic schizophrenia. It hasn’t happen again for over 26 yrs, and I have been drug free ever since. I don’t remember any of us falling asleep in class when we were young. In those days movies started at 8:00 PM and lasted only til 10:00. I think most of my friends went to bed around that time. We didn’t have computers either. There wasn’t anything entertaining to keep us up late at night. Most of us didn’t drink coffee for breakfast, and we drank milk for lunch. There were no Coke machines in school either. In short, I don’t think teenagers naturally need to stay up late nor sleep in.

This is going to convieniently be on tv tomarrow morning so that my parrents can see it… It’s proof that I really am nocturnal.
I get about 4 hours sleep every 24 hours and I am fine. Not great but not in any mental or physical anguish either. Being deprived of sleep just slows you down a little. You think slower and just feel very mellow. I don’t believe that not sleeping causes brain damge though, can’t see how braincells deteriorate without sleep. Whatever, sleep when I feel like it.
i’ve had about 5 hours of sleep every night this week. now its only 7:33 and im dead tired.
I get 4,5 hours sleep a night and it needs to change soon cause it’s making me dull, apathetic and jittery. Thank god studies are starting soon and i’ll shift to working evenings in stead of early mornings!

Come to think of it… my morning classes ARE my lowest classes! Health, Biology, Algebra. But I think that’s slightly coincidental because I’ve never been good at math or science.
