Homeopathy for Bedwetting

 Ideally the way to solve bed wetting problems in either children or adults with homeopathy is to visit an homeopath and have a detailed history taken, and in that manner you are treated holistically, rather than just having your symptom of bed wetting treated. However, that is not to say that homeopathy will only work if applied according to classical principles, if all of the manifesting symptoms are taken into account, as well as the particular personality of the individual with the problem, then it is possible to arrive at a remedy which will solve the problem. If there is a very unusual and weird symptom surrounding the bedwetting, then this may help point the way to the choice of remedy.

Belladonna:These children are very lively, restless, active, excitable all senses very acute,  Children sleep deeply and are difficult to wake up. Dreams of passing urine and involuntarily passes it. Starts in sleep and wets the bed. Rx 6c

Kreosotum: The kreosotum type child wants everything, then when given what they want, they throw it away. They tend to be cross willful and obstinate. Urine flows during first deep sleep, from which the child is aroused with difficulty.Rx 6c

Calcarea Phosphorica: Children are peevish and fretful, constantly changing their minds, want to go home, and when there want to go someplace else. Restless children always wanting change. Bedwetting during sleep.Rx 6x

Causticum: This child does not want to go to bed alone, least thing makes them cry, they are sensitive and sympathetic. Aggravated by cold dry weather and winds. Causticum is useful in children who wet the bed at the beginning of sleep.Rx 30c

 Cina: This is a children's remedy, tendency to be very naughty, constantly irritable, grind teeth during sleep, wet the bed. The cina child's problems usually  stem from intestinal parasites.Rx 6c

 Equisetum:This remedy covers many bladder problems, the bladder tends to be very irritable, and so does the person with the complaint. It has profuse urination with burning in the urethra, involuntary urination. Frequent urging with severe pain at the close of urination. Children with bedwetting problems, with dreams or nightmares when passing urine. Equisetum is a great remedy for urinary complaints accompained by pain. Rx 6c

Kali Phosphoricum: The child is shy, nervous, starts easily,  angry irritable children who cry and scream. Night terrors, sleep walking and bed wetting.Rx 6x

Magnesia phosphorica: Noctural bedwetting from nervous irritation. This  person is subject to depression and anxiety.Rx 6x

Plantago Major: Nocturnal bedwetting from weakness of the sphincter, this may happen after operations or childbirth.Rx 6c

Pulsatilla: This child is a mild mannered gentle one, cries easily, loves attention and fuss. As soon as they go to sleep the urine flows, sleeping on their backs increases the likelihood of urine loss.Rx 6c

Sepia: Involuntary urine as soon as the child goes to sleep at night. The bed is wet almost as soon as the child goes to sleep.Rx 6c

Silica: Obstinate stubborn children, their sleep is restless, tendency to sleepwalk, anxious dreams and bedwetting. Rx 6x

Stramonium: The child or adult cannot bear solitude or darkness, must have light on and company. Awakes terrified, screams with fright, frightful dreams, and bedwetting. Rx 30c
